Winter celebrations in Al-Ala will begin on December 21. These various events will continue till March 30, 2022.
According to Arab News, the events here include a fashion show of high-bred horses this year. This year, in addition to horse riding competitions, desert polo will also get played in Al-Ala.
What Are The Four Parts Of The Al-Alla Winter Celebration Program?
This year’s celebrations are divided into four parts. (1)-Winter Tantura Season, (2)- Alla Arts, (3)- Alla Skies, (4)- Alla Festival with all arts, music, and cultural programs.
- Winter celebrations in Al-Ala will begin on December 21. These various events will continue till March 30, 2022.
- The Al-Ala Festival will start in February 2022, in which artists will showcase their talents. Most of the musical programs will be in the halls of the beautiful glass Maraya Center and concerts at the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- There will be an exhibition of art “Al-Ala Arts” created by Saudi artists in the name of art of our time. Outdoor Cinema will show the beauty of the oasis and other scenes of Ala. Saudi filmmakers will also participate in their projects through these programs. Visitors will increase their knowledge of these places and areas through archeological and cultural workshops.
- Another program, called Alla Skies, will also give tourists the opportunity to fly over a rock in a hot air balloon, and take an aerial tour of the oasis by an ancient plane.
