Umrah Permit will be issued through Tawakkalna Application
According to the Health ministry, “This RAMADAN due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the KSA, only those pilgrims will be able to perform UMRAH who are immunized from COVID-19 or vaccinated 14 days ago before the Holy month of RAMADAN. The pilgrims will first have to register themselves as immunized at the TAWAKKALNA application. Only those pilgrims will be able to get Electronic Umrah Permit who are registered on TAWKKALNA application.”
Electrnoic Umrah Permit
Ministry of Hajj and Umrah ensure the relative authorities that a large capacity for the pilgrims and worshipers has been created in the Masjid-ul-Haram.
However, pilgrims and worshipers will have to get an electronic permit to perform UMRAH and worship in the Masjid-al-Nabawi. The electronic license is for those worshipers who are immune from the covid 19 TAWAKKALNA application.
These e-permits will be check at the entrance of Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-al-Nabawi. If you don’t have an e-permit or your permit date is not valid, you will not enter the mosque even if you follow all the preventive measurements.
Umrah Permits from Tawakkalna App
Deputy Minister of HAJJ and UMRAH (Dr. Abdul Fattah Mushat) further reminded the pilgrims that during this RAMADAN, the UMRAH electronic permit could be issued from the TAWAKKALNA application but not from the EATMARNA application.
He also said,
“The latest version of the TAWAKKALNA application is going to be launch soon. Pilgrims can use Tawakkalna to issue an UMRAH permit during 2021 RAMADAN.

Weekly Umrah Permit and daily Prayer Permit
Hajj and UMRAH management tell the pilgrims that even they are to perform UMRAH once during RAMADAN. However, they can pray in Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-al-Nabawi as many times as they wanted.
The electronic permit to pray in these two mosques (Grand Mosque and Prophet Mosque) issues daily. As the authorities increase the daily worshipers’ capacity, there will be no issue to pray daily in Haram with a valid e-permit. All the pilgrims are going to get UMRAH permits and daily prayer permits through the TAWAKKALNA application. People between (18-65) and above 65 age who have been vaccinated can also issue an UMRAH permit through the TAWAKKALNA application.
However, necessary preventive measurements are in place to prevent pilgrims from getting COVID-19. If any of the pilgrims feel unwell, he is going to get treatment at the medical health center Al-Haram. This center is open 24 hours a day as the Mecca Health Complex triples medical health emergency service.
