Things to remember before starting your travel to Saudi Arabia

After the resumption of international flights on May 17, Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudi Arabia) has issued an explanatory statement regarding quarantine for passengers who wants to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Earlier they imposed some conditions for travelers. However in recent development, according to the local news, Saudi Arabia says that passengers who will be quarantined on arrival in Saudi Arabia will choose one of the hotel packages according to the prescribed system.

What do you need to travel to Saudi Arabia?

Before traveling to Saudia, all you need you need to know is 

(1)- Booked Tickets

(2)- PCR (Before entering the Kingdom)

(3)- Booked Transport

(4)- Booked Hotel packages.

Few things to know before traveling to Saudia

(1)- Firstly, Quarantine packages are subject to the terms of the Saudi reservation, which travelers can avail of if the air ticket has been booked through Saudi.

(2)- Secondly, Guests should check their eligibility to travel to the respective countries and obtain the required permits.

(3)- Thirdly, The Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.

Guests will need to check the latest travel conditions and guidelines from official and authorized sources before traveling.

(4)- Lastly, Guests will receive two COVID-19 tests on entry and exit.

Also, make sure you have read and understood the rules and regulations as all packages are non-refundable. 

Security Measures in Saudi Arabia

If a person intending to travel to Saudi Arabia has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is contacting a person diagnosed with COVID-19, declare it to the health authorities in your country, and Will not travel for up to 14 days after assessment or may be prosecuted for final contact violations (health control at points of entry regulation).

They will be fined no more than (500,000) Saudi Riyals, and others will be held accountable for the consequences of their violations.

Perform COVID-19 PCR within the time frame set by Saudi Arabia, and the test result is proof of COVID-19 approval. Violators will be denied entry to Saudi Arabia.

Measures on Arrival

If you have respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), call a health center.
Sign the required documents with the health authorities and submit them to the relevant authorities at the time of admission.

Download and register the applications required by the health authorities. Violations can be prosecuted under (Health Control at Entry Regulation Points).

Measures after entering Saudi Arabia

(1)- Comply with isolation/quarantine according to the time and place specified in the passenger’s signed documents, update health status, and report symptoms to health authorities.

Violations of solitary confinement requirements are punishable by a fine of up to 200,000 Saudi riyals or imprisonment for up to 2 years or both. Repeated violations are subject to double penalties.

(2)- Follow the safety precautions after the isolation/quarantine period is over:

(a)- Violation of social distance and precautions is subject to a fine of up to 1,000 Saudi riyals, including not wearing a face mask, not maintaining social distance, or entering public or private facilities.

Refusal to check the temperature and non-compliance with the protocol assigned to people with fever. Also fine gets double with every repetition of violation.

(b)- Avoid large gatherings and do not invite them to such gatherings. (10,000) RS Fine for such Violations. Also fine gets double with every repetition of violation.

(c)- Maintain regular handwashing with soap and water and hygiene.

(3)- When signs of infection appear, apply for healthcare call the health authorities at 937 and take precautionary measures to protect the public.
