Submit the amount of Hajj package within three hours of receiving SMS
Hajj registration is consists of 2 stages. In the first phase, the electronic portal was launched on Sunday, June 13, 2021, and ended on June 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. This first phase was an initial submission, not a final registration. in 2nd phase, the Selected candidate will submit the amount of Hajj Package
After ensuring the Health status and regulatory standards, MOH selected 60,000 people who will perform Hajj this year. Within few days, millions of people applied for HAJJ 2021. However, due to the emerging COVID-19 cases, only 60,000 people will perform HAJJ this year.
However, if you are a candidate for Hajj this year and your application gets acceptance from the ministry, then the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that the authority will gradually send SMS to those who apply for Hajj this year.
Protocols of Sending Messages to accepted candidates
According to the local website, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement on Twitter that they are going to send messages to the applicants on two grounds.
- The first basis is age classification. Authority will send another SMS to those in the second age group as the specific age group candidates withdraw.
- The second basis is that authority will send SMS based on the number of seats available in the coming days.
Note:Â Earlier, Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdul Fattah Mushat told Al-Akhbariya Channel that the authority would send the first SMSes to those applicants who had never performed Hajj before.Â
Is this the final approval?
The Deputy Minister for Hajj has said that the SMSes sent to the applicants are not messages of final approval of Hajj. Ministry of Hajj will give final approval only after fulfilling all the conditions.
He said that they will send a number to the candidate to submit the package amount when the candidate completes the entire application process. The candidate has to submit the package amount within three hours of receiving the number. If he does not deposit the money in the meantime, they are going to cancel his booking. Moreover, someone else is going to get a chance.
He said that if the Hajj permit is issued to the candidate with the note that he has received only one vaccine of Corona and not the other and completes the process, he will be given the second vaccine based on the Hajj permit. Food will be available without interruption.
How to Cancel the Hajj Registration before submitting the amount of Hajj Package
Dr. Mushat said that if any person wants to cancel Hajj registration, the Ministry has given the option on its website. It is important to apologize before the application process is complete and not have any future problems.
