SOPs for Slaughtering During Eid Ul Adha in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Moonsighting Committee expects that Eid-ul-Adha in KSA will fall on July 20 or July 21, 2021. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, locals and expatriates will avail this facility.
Maximum Facilities for Slaughtering
According to newspaper 24, Makkah Municipality has said that the Saudi Municipality will provide maximum facilities for sacrifices in catering establishments and slaughterhouses during Eid-ul-Adha and the next three days.
Inspection and monitoring of markets
The Makkah Municipality warned that inspectors would make inspection visits to ensure the victims and slaughterhouses and catering establishments complied with the prescribed regulations. At the same time, Makkah Municipality will also monitor the goat markets during this period.
In addition, the conditions regarding slaughterhouses and catering establishments will be met. Inspection teams will also check the effective licenses for catering establishments and slaughterhouses. The Municipality of the Tabuk region has already started preparations for Eid-ul-Adha.
Presence of a Veterinarian
