Ministry Of Health Exempted The Vaccine Requirement For Children Under 12 For The Saudi Summer Program

According to Arab News, tourists from all over the country who meet the criteria will participate in the SAUDI SUMMER PROGRAM from August 1.

  • In a statement, the Ministry of Tourism said that fully vaccinated people would be those who have received both doses of the state-approved vaccines, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Moderna.
  • It is also essential for travelers to enter their vaccine dosage information into the TAWAKKALNA application. They also need t show it to the administration while entering the tourism places.

Children Under The Age Of 12 Are Exempt From The Above Requirements

Saudi Department of Recreation has exempted vaccine requirements for children from participating in open-air recreational activities.

“Children under the age of 12 can participate in open-air entertainment. However, the people accompanying them will have to show proof of the vaccine.

Requirements For The People Accompanying Children Under 12

Department of Entertainment said, “Children under the age of 12 can participate in open-air recreational activities with vaccinated relatives and friends.”

Two things will consider in the people who will be accompanying the children.

  • One is that they do not have influenza, their temperature is not high, they do not have a cough.
  • And the second is that they don’t have runny noses, sore throats. Their record in the Tawakalna app is unaffected and vaccinated, while children do not have these symptoms.”
