Shah Salman Briefing To The Cabinet During The Meeting
According to the state-run news agency SPA, at the beginning of the meeting, Shah Salman briefed the cabinet members on the recent talks and discussions between brotherly and friendly countries in Saudi Arabia.
- The talks and meetings were to strengthen bilateral cooperation and further improve and strengthen relations at all levels.
- The Saudi Cabinet has called the military cooperation agreement between Russia and Saudi Arabia an aid to global peace and stability.
- The Cabinet also expressed satisfaction over signing an amended protocol between Qatar and Saudi Arabia on the establishment of a Coordinating Council.

Saudi Cabinet Also Discussed The Issue Of Its Participation In The Baghdad Conference
Acting Information Minister Dr. Issam bin Saad told SPA after the meeting that “The cabinet also discussed the issue of Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Baghdad Conference on Cooperation and Partnership.”
In this regard, the Cabinet expressed its commitment that “Saudi Arabia stands with the brotherly country of Iraq in shaping its bright future and is committed to cooperating in its construction and development.”
“Saudi Arabia wants Iraq to play its role not only in the Arab world but also regionally and internationally, and to show solidarity and cooperation with countries in the region to address the threat of terrorism and extremism around the world,” he said.
