Saudi Arabia Scraps all Covid 19 Related Restrictions

Breaking news: On Saturday evening, Saudi Arabia has abolished all Covid 19 Related Restrictions including Social Distancing and Masks on the outdoor. With that Social Distancing in both Holy Mosques also comes to an end.

What we Know So far?

Here is the list of what we know so far as of 5th March 2022

Wearing Masks:

Wearing Mask in Public Places is not Mandatory. However, you need to wear it in Shops and Mosques and all other closed places

Social Distancing is no more in Saudi Arabia. Also, according to the Decision made by Ministry, They have suspended social distancing measures at all closed and open places, activities, and events.

Covid 19 Quarantine:

Travellers from all over the globe are not required to practice Institutional Quarantine. Furthermore, they are allowed to Come to Saudi Arabia without going Quarantined for 3 days or 5 days.

PCR Tests:

No PCR Test for travellers. Before this, PCR was mandatory for each and everyone regardless of their Vaccine status. However, from now on no need for PCR tests while coming to Saudi Arabia.

International Flights:

Flights are OPEN for all Countries. The Kingdom lifted the suspension of direct flights and arrival to the Kingdom from the following countries (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, United Republic of Comoros, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Afghanistan).

Visit Visa:

Those who are coming on Visit Visas need to have Covid 19 Insurance with them. This insurance should cover all expenses related to Covid 19 treatment.

Umrah Visa:

Flights are Open for all. No Quarantine for any country as of now. You only need to register your vaccine online before coming to Saudi Arabia. Use Muqeem Platform to register your vaccine 72 hours before arriving in Saudi Arabia.
