According to the state-run news agency SPA, the management of Masjid-e-Nabawi has stepped up the sanitation of pilgrimage and prayer places.

- In addition, 6300 liters of disinfectant and nine sanitizing machines are providing to sanitize Bab-ul-Salam, Jang-ul-Baqi, and Bab-ul-Nisa.
- 18,000 polythene shoes are getting distributed daily.
- Forty-six machines are getting used to clean the courtyards, parking lots, and extension areas of Masjid Nabavi. It is sanitized ten times a day.
