KSA once again imposed a ban on International Flights:

There is a travel ban on international flights from various countries. The world is already facing a drastic situation because of Covid 19. The vaccine is invented for this however, there is a new mutation of the COVID-19 virus “B.1.1.7 LINEAGE” which is discovered in the United Kingdom, Wales, Scotland, and its nearest region Kent.

According to the initial researches, this new mutation COVID-19 virus may spread almost 70% times faster than the previous one.

Saudia’s Reaction and Ban on International flights:

Few countries got a report of COVID-19 virus “B.1.1.7 LINEAGE” cases happening in the UK. They immediately decided to ban the affected regions of the COVID-19 virus “B.1.1.7 LINEAGE” from travel.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and many Gulf Co-operation Countries took necessary action and banned the international flights of all airlines to United-kingdom along with travels to many other countries of Europe. 

KSA imposed an immediate ban on International travel on Monday, 21-12-2020. According to MOH and MOI, any trade or transportation to these countries will be closed for 7 days.

In a meeting, the Minister of Health and Minister of Interior told that not only the air transportation is banned but also every means of transportation air, sea, land (flights, ships, borders) is also banned for a time span of next 7 days.

As per a definite announcement by the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health has detailed that the new mutation of the COVID-19 virus “B.1.1.7 LINEAGE” is spreading quickly in various nations.

Precautionary measure from new mutant of COVID-19 virus

Following the Ministry of Health’s rules to shield residents and citizens from the recently spread infection, the Interior Ministry has stated that those who recently visited any region of Europe should have to take care of the accompanying requests.

1- All global flights are canceled and Only foreign diplomats, tourists, and workers working in the nation are fly. 

2- Those borders with a high chance of infection are also closed for a week. No one can travel through these infectious routes, and it might be possible that this ban should be extended.

3- Those who recently visited any European region should take COVID-19 health review and tests daily for the 5 days. If possible, they should have to isolate themselves for at least 14 days.

Travel Worries after ban on International flights:

According to a report of “Bloomberg,” Stock markets took a deep dive when the news of the new mutant broke on news channels.

The United Arab Emirate’s airlines, “ETIHAD AND EMIRATES,” has also canceled all the scheduled trips to the UK and other surrounding areas

Unfortunately, this cannot happen due to the new mutation of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom. Scientists are predicting it may have a high chance of more spread than the previous mutation.
