How Tourists Can Register On Tawakkalna & Update Their Covid-19 Status

On May. 04, 2020, SDAIA (Saudi Data and Al Authority), under the Ministry of Health and Saudi Arabia’s National Information Centre’s supervision, published an app named “Tawakkalna” on the play store and app store.

Ministry introduced TAWAKKALNA to get an electronic permit to hold out the native business, emergencies, health problems in the period of curfew held by the Saudi Government to control the spread of COVID-19.

This application aims to provide the latest news and medical alerts authenticated by the Ministry of Health about the chronic virus. This application consists of a bundle of permits and features that allow the residence to KSA to move around the city for local affairs and encourage the residence of KSA or international tourists to share any symptoms of COVID-19 in them or other people nearby on this application.

How To Get Register On Tawakkalna Application?

In Saudi Arabia, the Tawakalna app administration has issued an application registration process for those coming to the country from abroad. Also, By using the below process, you can register on the TAWAKKALNA application and update your COVID-19 status.

1- First of all, download the updated version of the TAWAKKALNA application according to your device compatibility.

Apple users: “Tawakkalna” Android users: “Tawakkalna”

2- After installing the app, open the application and select your preferred language to continue.

3- Now, you will have to tell your residency out of three types.

(a) KSA resident (b) (Gulf Cooperation Council) GCC resident

(c) International tourist or Pilgrim.

3– After selecting your citizen/residence type, you will see a forum on the app. Now fill in your personal information, including passport or Gulf ID card number, citizenship, date of birth, mobile number.

4– After filling the form, you must have to accept the terms and condition

5– Once you clicked on next, you will receive a verification code on your given number/”Absher” registered phone number now; put the code in the verification tab and click on continue.

6– After that, choose your password and click on signup. Once you did that, you will get logged in to your account.

How To Update Your Covid-19 Status On Tawakkalna?

After logging in to your account, you have to allow the map to access your location.
Once you allowed the map, you will have to fill a COVID-19 health survey

(a) if you are a resident of KSA, you will see the COVID-19 status of dependent workers in your family under your profile.

(b) if you are a tourist, you will have to fill a survey related to COVID-19.

Note: Once you filled the COVID-19 survey, your COVID-19 status in TAWAKKALNA will get an update in color-coding. There is a total of 7 color-coded patterns used for the COVID-19 health status of the person. These color codes are entirely different from one another and resemble some unique health status of the account holder

(1)- DARK GREEN COLOR (IMMUNE FROM COVID-19)

(2)- GREEN COLOR (NO RECORD OF INFECTION)

(3)- ORANGE COLOR (EXPOSED TO COVID-19)

(4)- BROWN COLOR (INFECTED FROM COVID-19)

(5)- BLUE COLOR (ARRIVED FROM ABROAD A CATEGORY COUNTRIES)

(6)- VIOLET COLOR (ARRIVED FROM ABROAD B CATEGORY COUNTRIES)

(7)- GRAY COLOR (NO INTERNET CONNECTION)
