How To Renew ISTIMARA 2021?

A vehicle registration document that is issued when a person buys a car, motorbike or any sort of vehicle is called “ISTIMARA ”. It shows the ownership of a person about a certain vehicle, and he/she can easily drive his/her vehicle on the road without the fear of being caught up by police because a person cannot travel in a vehicle if he/she has not “ISTIMARA 2021” with them along “FAHAS”.

Validity Of ISTIMARA

If a person has a new vehicle, then the validity of “ISTIMARA” will be almost 3 years but if a person bought an old and used vehicle then he can check the validity of “ISTIMARA” by login into his “ABSHER” account.

ISTIMARA Renewal Conditions

Below there are some conditions to follow before applying for renewal of ISTIMARA.

1- Pay ISTIMARA 2021 Fees

You cannot start the process of ISTIMARA 2021 on ABSHER until you have paid the ISTIMARA renewal fees via SADDAD or bank account or online. ISTIMARA online fees for different vehicles are written below. Check your vehicle type and pay accordingly.

2- Pay Traffic Fines

Before applying for renewal of ISTIMARA make sure all your fine fees are paid. If it’s not paid then pay it till starting the renewal process because if a traffic police officer will find out about your violation fines, then you will be in a complete mess. To check the number of traffic violation status which is also MUKHALFA you must follow the below procedure.

1– Open the ABSHER portal

            Here: “ABSHER

2– Select your preferred language.

3Login with your username

4– After login, click on Individuals.

5– Here click on the query and then select “NUMBER OF TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

6-Now put your IQAMA number and details including your passport number.

7– After that click on submit and then you will be directed to your required information containing the “NUMBER OF FINES COLUMN”. Here you will see the number of traffic violation tickets against your vehicle and IQAMA number and the amount of fine issued by MOI Traffic Violation.

To pay the traffic violation fines at ATM you must follow the below procedure.

1– Go to the nearest ATM and put your bank card

2– Select your preferred language.

3Login with your username into your bank account

4– After login, click on E-SERVICES.

5– Here click on the query and then select “NUMBER OF TRAFFIC INFORMATION”

6-Now put your IQAMA number and details including your passport number.

7– After that click on submit and then you will be directed to your required information containing the “TRAFFIC VIOLATION STATUS”. Here you will see details of traffic violations against your vehicle and the IQAMA number

8- Now click on Pay Button and the Traffic fine will be deducted from your bank account

3- Perform “FAHAS” MVPI

If you want to renew your ISTIMARA then you should have “FAHAS” in your possession otherwise it will be a complete mess for you. “FAHAS” is a certificate that provides the surety of your vehicle that it can drove on the road while ascertaining your and others’ safety on the road.

If you are living in KSA and driving a car on road without having a “FAHAS” certificate, then you will be in a complete mess because if a traffic police officer caught you while driving a car on road without having the “FAHAS” certificate then he will charge a fine of almost 150 SAR against you

The “FAHAS” MVPI test fees for all the vehicles are different it depends upon the type of vehicle. Below there are the “FAHAS” test rates of different vehicles including VAT and re-inspection fees.

In “FAHAS” vehicle pass through four stages so make sure these four parts of your vehicle are in good shape so that you can get the ISTIMARA easily

(A) Inspection Of Lights and Brakes

The first inspection stage through which your vehicle will be passed out is an inspection of lights and brakes. In this inspection stage, all type of lights in your vehicle will be tested to check either They are working or not it. If the lights will be working, then the inspection officer will write “working right” on the inspection paper.

After that your vehicle brakes will be tested if they are working properly then he will also write “working right” on inspection paper. After which the vehicle will move to the next inspection center.

LIGHTS INCLUDING (HEADLIGHT, HAZARD LIGHT, TAILLIGHT)

BRAKES INCLUDING (NORMAL BRAKE, HAND BRAKE)

(B) Inspection Of Tires:

After the first inspection stage, the vehicle will be passed to the second inspection stage, where all tires will be checked thoroughly by an inspection officer. If you have tires that are in not bad shape or are in good shape then there is no need to worry because they will pass through the inspection stage and the inspection officer will write “working right” on the inspection paper.

(C) Inspection Of Carbon Emission:

After the second inspection stage, the vehicle will be passed to the third inspection stage where the carbon emission will be checked thoroughly by an inspection officer. If you have emission exhaust pipes that are in not bad shape or are in good shape, then there is no need to worry because they will release the normal amount of carbon through exhaust pipes and the inspection officer will write “working right” on the inspection paper.

(D) Inspection From Bottom:

After the third inspection stage, the vehicle will be passed to the fourth inspection stage where the bottom will be checked thoroughly by an inspection officer. If you have a clean bottom that is in not bad shape or is in good shape, then there is no need to worry because there will be no oil leak marks on the bottom and the inspection officer will write “working right” on the inspection paper.

If you have all the above things in good shape, then you can probably pass the MVPI test, and you can apply for renewal ISTIMARA.

4- Get Vehicle Insurance

To renew your ISTIMARA you will need vehicle insurance. There are many companies out In KSA which will provide vehicle insurance. Choose any of them according to your need and get the vehicle insurance along with the insurance document.

Renew ISTIMARA 2021 Using ABSHER Account

If you have carefully followed the above procedure, then you can now easily renew your using your ABSHER account.

(1)– First, open the ABSHER portal

              Here: “ABSHER

(2)– Now log in to your ABSHER account

(3)-After login select your preferred language to continue

(4)-Below inquiries, you will see “MY VEHICLES INFORMATION” on the right side of the “VISA STATUS”      

(5)- Now click on your desired vehicle number and out your IQAMA number to get the ISTIMARA 2021 validity.

If the information of the vehicle showing ISTIMARA 2021 expired, then click on the renew button to renew it.

As soon as you click on Renew ISTIMARA by following all the above steps then ISTIMARA will be renewed under 5-10 minutes.

If your vehicle is new, then you cannot get ISTIRAMA but if your vehicle is old and used then you can get your ISTIMARA from the local traffic police officer
