How to get Umrah Permit for Resident?

Booking an Umrah permit is a two-step easy process;

Step 1 – Book Appointment via Tawakkalna App

3. Select “Perform Umrah” and click on the continue button.
4. Select the companions you want to book an appointment with.
5. Set the time and date for your Umrah.

7. Select the city you are arriving from.

Step 2 – Pay Transportation Fees:

You must pay for transportation (20 SAR per person) before or within two hours of booking your Umrah appointment. to do so;

1. Open the EATMARNA app and click on “Booking”.
2. Select the bus pick-up point, add the number of tickets and click “Pay Now”.
3. Add your MADA, debit card, or credit card details to make the payment.
4. To check unused transport tickets through the EATMARNA app, click on the “Settings” tab and “Transport tickets”.

How to Get Permit to Pray in Makkah Holy Mosque?

To obtain a permit to pray inside the Grand Mosque in Mecca through the TAWAKKALNA application, do the following:

2. Scroll down until you find the “Issue a permit” option.
3. Click on “Prayer in the Grand Mosque”.
4. Select the companions for whom you wish to obtain a permit.
5. Choose the prayer you want to display from Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha.

To obtain a permit to pray inside Riyadh Al-Jannah in Al-Madinah through the Tawakkalna application, do the following:

1. Open our TAWAKKALNA and click on the “Services” option.
2. Scroll down until you find the “Issue a permit” option.
3. Click on “Prayer in the NOBLE RAWDAH”.
4. Select the companions for whom you wish to obtain a permit.
5. Select the time and date.
6. Bilal Gate No. 38 will get reserved for men who visit Riad Al Jannah.
7. Bilal Gate No. 24 will get dedicated to women who visit Riad Al Jannah.

How to get Prophet(SAWW) visit permit

To obtain a permit to visit the ROOZA-E-RASOOL (SAWW) Madinah through the TAWAKKALNA application, do the following;

1. Open our TAWAKKALNA and click on the “Services” option.
2. Scroll down until you find the “Issue a permit” option.
3. Click on “Visit the Prophet”.
4. Select the companions for whom you wish to obtain a permit.
5. Select the time and date.
6. ALSALAM GATE #1 will get dedicated to you.

How to get Umrah Permit for Visit Visa Holder?

We also know that only people who have recovered from COVID-19 or were vaccinated at least 14 days before can get the Umrah permit. And therefore;

1. Only family visa holders who have recovered from COVID-19 in the previous 180 days can obtain a permit for UMRAH via TAWAKKALNA application.
2. However, Family visit visa holders cannot get the COVID19 vaccine in KSA and cannot obtain an Umrah permit.

How to Cancel a Umrah Permit:

You can cancel your pass using Tawakkalna Application. To cancel the Umrah permit, follow the following steps:

1. Open our TAWAKKALNA and click on the “Services” option.
2. Scroll down until you find the “Permit” option.
3. Click on the desired permit which you want to cancel.
4. Click on the “Cancel” button on the top right corner.
5. Select “Yes, deauthorize”.

Fines for the Violators:

The Interior Ministry has announced heavy fines on those who try to enter the Grand Mosque without permission.

1. Anyone who tries to enter the MASJID-Ul-HARAM in EHRAM without the permission of ‘Umrah will face a fine of 10,000 riyals.
2. A fine of 1,000 riyals for trying to enter the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah without permission
