How to extend your Visit visa as per new policy 2021
On the direction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Passport Department has once again started automatic extension in the residency, visit, and exit visas of foreigners residing abroad. According to SPA, the extension is going to take place under an automatic process until July 31, 2021, without any fees or charges. Here is how you can extend your visit visa as per new policy.
Who can extend their visit Visa
- The citizens of the 20 countries from which the arrival of passengers is not allow from February 2, 2021.
- Immigrants from countries from which travelers are temporarily barred from entering the country must abide by the royal decrees during their stay and departure on July 31, 2021. After that, it is going to get an extension for free.Â
- Under the royal decree, there will also be eligible visa holders whose visas have been affected by a temporary travel ban (from certain countries). As a result, their visit visas is also going to get an extension.
- It is to be noted that after the royal decree, the licensing has started a phased process on the program of extending the period of stay, exit, and visit visas till July 31 under the care system itself.Â
How to extend your visit Visa
Saudi ministries have launched an e-service that allows visitors to the kingdom to register their unused or expired visitor visas. Many Visas got expired due to travel bans imposed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
In addition, the kingdom is also going to allow free expansion to those who are previously not allow to enter 20 countries in February. The detailed process of extension is below:
(1)- First of all, visit the “ENJAZAT” website, then go to “E-services” and then further select “Expired visa extension” or click on the below link:

(2)- Once you opened the link on your browser, click on the language and change it to your desired language
(3)- In the “Extend the validity of an expired visitor visa” tab, you have to add your details, including:
- VISA NUMBER
- PASSPORT NUMBER
- NATIONALITY
- EMAIL ADDRESS (ABSHER VERIFIED OR EMAIL USED FOR VISA REGISTRATION)
(4)-Â Once you fill in all the above details, add the image captcha code and then click on “EXTENSION.”
If your Visa number and passport number are authentic and meet the criteria of Free Visa Extension, then it is going to get extension. If your ticket is not opening up, check the details or check your eligibility.
Till how many days you have to wait?
The extension of residence and visas is going to take place under an automatic system. It is with the collaboration of National Information Center and passport office. As a result, no one will have to approach the offices.
