According to A.A.J.I.L. News, the spokesman of the affairs of the two holy shrines, while addressing a press conference on the Corona rules, added that the upper and side part of the Masjid al-Haram is open for the performance of prayers where Sunnah and Nawafil will get performed.

Acting Secretary for Administrative Affairs of Masjid-ul-Haram, Dr Saad bin Muhammad Al-Muhammed, said, “Ministry competed for all arrangements for the full capacity for Umrah pilgrims and worshipers in Masjid-ul-Haram.”

Dr Mohammed added that “Following the statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the maximum capacity for visitors to the Grand Mosque is getting restored. Workers are taking all precautionary measures to ensure that all possible facilities getting provided to the pilgrims and those who come for congregational prayers while being safe from Corona.”

Addressing the Umrah pilgrims and worshipers coming to Masjid-ul-Haram, he further said, “Follow the instructions issued during your presence in Masjid-ul-Haram and make sure you have time to trust or rely on them before coming to perform Umrah and prayers. Also, make sure to wear a mask while in the mosque.
