Facilities in Grand mosques for Ramadan 2021
Secretary of the administration of the two holy mosques (Grand mosque and Prophet mosque), Dr. Saad al-Muhammed, while talking in an interview, announced that the Holy mosques’ administration had launched more than 30 facilities programs for the UMRAH worshippers and pilgrims during RAMADAN 2021. Both Holy Cities are ready to serve Pilgrims for Ramzan 2021
Many programs came in view to provide quality services to UMRAH pilgrims. However, only those who will perform UMRAH immunized from COVID-19 and have a valid Eatmarna application e-permit.

With new SOPs for Ramzan 2021, Here are all the facilities from different categories:

Utility Facilities for Ramadan 2021:
(1)- Now, pilgrims and worshipers will be able to get the men and women prayer e-permit of the two holy mosques (Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-ul-Nabwi) through eatmarna application.
(2)-Â The carpeted floor in the two mosques (Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-al-Nabwi) is going to get wash at least ten times a day to provide a healthy and safe environment for pilgrims.
(3)- People will get 200000 bottles of Zam Zam every day. They are going to monitor and organize the water supply movement of the visitors. Â
(4)- The security personal will observe visitors’ movement at the mosques’ entrance. They will be responsible for the smooth flow of the rush of pilgrims in Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-al-Nabwi. Pilgrims can ask their queries from the security personal at the entrance.
(5)- While considering the COVID-19, sanitation of floors, ceilings, walls, open spaces, and pilgrim tracks will be maintained 24 hours daily in both mosques in mecca and Madinah.
(6)-Â Security cameras are active at all the possible places to get all the views under the security eye. If any illegal or inappropriate activity occurs, it will go to the relative agencies, and a quick response will be made.
(7)- Pilgrims will now be able to book an electric cart and wheelchair for the elders and disables through the tanaqol application.
(8)-Â The Tawaf and Sa’ee in the lower portion of Masjid-ul-Haram’s first floor is reserve for the elders and disable (by electric cart and wheelchair).
(9)-Â Facilities of light, shower fans, air cleaning coolers will run 24 hours a day. Management will monitor all the activity inside and outside the Masjid-al-Haram.
(10)-Â Loudspeakers are in place at every corner of Masjid-al-Haram to convey Imam and Muezzin’s voice throughout the Masjid-ul-Haram.
Medical Facilities for Ramadan 2021:
The medical health facilities programs issued by the Mecca Health Complex are below:
(1)-Â 10 Hospitals and 82 health centers are going to serve UMRAH pilgrims and worshipers during RAMADAN 2021.
(2)- Health Centers and Hospitals will provide medical services to the Pilgrims and worshipers with excellent preventive measurements while adhering to anti covid sops. During RAMADAN, medical emergency arrangements in the intensive care unit of health centers become tripled by the Mecca health complex.
(3)- 24 hours medical emergency health service will be available in the AL-HARAM Emergency center for pilgrims and worshipers; however, all the other medical centers will provide their services according to the prescribed working hours.
(4)- Nurses, doctors, and other staff will individually provide a total of 6 hours of service to the pilgrims and worshipers during the 24 hours shift.
(5)-Â Even in the holy month of RAMADAN, hospitals and vaccination centers are going to provide vaccines to those residents and health workers who are registered for vaccines through the “Sehaty application.”
Instructions and Guidelines Facilities for Ramzan 2021:
The administration of the two holy mosques has provided the following facilities for pilgrims’ instruction and guidelines.
(1)-Â They are going to install more than 50 Digital screens throughout the mosque to facilitate pilgrims and worshipers.
(2)- These screens will show different guidelines throughout the day, and guidelines will change according to Masjid-al-Haram’s situation.
(3)If you cannot understand the language displaying on the screens, then translation experts will be available at the information desk, translating the digital screen guidelines for you.
(4)-Â Digital screens inside the Masjid-al-Haram are 36 square meters. However, The digital screens installed inside the mosque are of average 25 square meter size.
(5)-Â Awareness messages, important announcements, instructions, welcoming words for visitors, and telephone numbers will be displayed on the screen. Moreover, Pilgrims can call at the displayed numbers and ask any religious queries.
Transport Facilities for Ramzan 2021:
The KSA general syndicate of transport has made some arrangements to facilitate the pilgrims and worshipers throughout RAMADAN. However, Some of the arrangements are mentioned below:
(1)- Transport service will be available 24 hours a day while following all the preventive measurements.
(2)- Transport for the pilgrims and worshipers will be available from the hotels to Masjid-al-Haram.
(3)- Almost 80 city buses of 2016 or the latest model will be reserved for the pilgrims. Every bus will have two drivers and a service provider’s license.
(4)- All the bus drivers in Mecca and Madinah must be vaccinated before 1st RAMADAN for the pilgrim’s facility.
(5)-Â All the staff will be immunized against covid-19 and adhere to the anti-covid sops; however, all the staff will provide their service without wearing uniforms.
