Saudi Arabia tried to see the moon of Dhu al-Hijjah on Friday. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Supreme Court said in a statement that “Following the Umm al-Qura calendar, Friday is the 29th of Dhu al-Qaeda. In this regard, there was a possibility that the moon of Dhu al-Hijjah will be seen”. Also, Eid Ul Adha 2021 in Saudia is going to be celebrated accordingly.

However, The moon of Dhu al-Hijjah did not appear in Saudi Arabia on Friday. Moreover, It is reported that the moon is not visible even in Tamir, a well-known observatory of the country.

According to the state-run news agency SPA, the Saudi Supreme Court said in a statement that the moon of Dhul-Hijjah is not seen anywhere in the country on Friday, July 9, 2021, according to 29 Dhul-Qa’dah 1442 AH. Saturday will be the 30th day of Dhi Qaeda.

The Supreme Court has said that “Sunday, July 11 will be the first Dhul-Hijjah. However, According to this, Waqf Arafa 9 Dhul-Hijjah, it will be on Monday, July 19and Eid-ul-Adha on Tuesday, July 20.”

According to the local website, on the appeal of the Saudi Supreme Court, the Ruwit Hilal Committee tried to see the moon in all parts of the country, especially in the Tabuk region, but the moon was not sighted, and 1st Dhul-Hajj will be on 11-07-2021
