Covid 19 Vaccine Drive will provide Vaccine free

A few days ago, MOH made their promise true when he stated that they would get the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine quickly. However, The Batch has arrived and it will be available for all the people from Tuesday 15-10-2020.

Covid 19 Vaccine and Saudi Health Minister:

Saudi Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq al-Rabiah, who ensured the KSA citizens that they would get the COVID-19 vaccine, in short, made his promise true when the first batch of COVID-19 vaccines came to KSA.

To ensure that this vaccine is beneficial and everyone should have to get a shot, he got the first shot of the COVID-19 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. After getting the first shot of vaccine in the entire KSA, while addressing the citizen of KSA, he stated:

“I am blissful to update this to every citizen of KSA that the COVID-19 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine shipped to KSA o’clock in the morning. I expect that this commencement will put an end to this catastrophe. And by the blessing of Allah Almighty, it will be granted to each and citizen of KSA as soon as possible.”

He further added,

“Almost 100000 KSA citizens enrolled themselves for COVID-19 vaccination as soon as the KSA government opened the registration process.

With the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Health’s help, the enrollment for the COVID-19 can be done by a medical application named “SEHATTY.”

It is requested to all the residents of this holy country to get them enrolled for this vaccine, and those who are above the age of 65 should take it carefully.”

Situation in KSA as of 21 December, 2020

COVID-19 Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine is the one which Saudia has opted for. The beginning of primary immunization is already taking place in a few countries. Covid 19 Vaccine will be free in KSA:

The COVID-19 vaccine can be available for the KSA citizens from Tuesday 15-12-2020 after the registration at the online application portal of “SEHATTY.”

According to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Interior, this COVID-19 vaccine will be free for all the people residing in KSA, either citizens, GCC citizens, or Expats.

The vaccine is giving to the public after passing through many tests on key subjects and positive feedbacks. According to the Ministry, this vaccine has firm antibodies, which will show tough and positive immune results.

Covid 19 Vaccine Distribution Phases:

According to the government and Ministry of KSA, they will distribute the vaccine in three effective phases. At the end of three phases, all the people of KSA will be granted vaccine.

FIRST PHASE:

According to the Ministry of Health, the first phase consists of

(a)– IQAMA holder and citizens above the age of 65 year

(b)– Doctor, nurses, and other health workers who work in some serious wards.

(c)- Peoples who have a serious problem due to their over-weight with BMI greater than 40

(d)- Individuals who have acquired immune deficiency syndrome

(e)- Individuals who have suffered [transplantology and undergoing immunosuppressant

(f)- Individuals who have two or more mentioned diseases cardiovascular disease, a chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, circulatory system diseases, chronic renal failure, bronchitis, and diabetes mellitus

SECOND PHASE:

According to the Ministry of Health, the second phase consists of

(a)- IQAMA holder and citizens above the age of 50 year

(b)- Peoples who have a serious problem due to their over-weight with BMI being over 30

(c)- Individuals who have less acquired immune deficiency syndrome

(d)- Individuals who have one of the mentioned diseases such as, cardiovascular disease, a chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, circulatory system diseases, chronic renal failure, bronchitis, vigorous tumor, and diabetes mellitus

THIRD PHASE:

According to the Ministry of Health, the third phase consists of

(a)- IQAMA holder and citizens above the age of 16 year

(b)- Everybody rather than above two phases which will desire to register for vaccination will get the vaccination
