Ministry Of Health Imposed 3 More Covid-19 SOPS On Visiting Shopping Malls And Commercial Malls

  • Informed sources in the Saudi Interior Ministry said that the Saudi Ministry of Health added three more Covid-19 SOPS regulations to the regulations issued on the 29th of Ramadan regarding precautionary measures against Corona.
  • The  Ministry of Health changed the punishment for the violations of new restrictions. Ministry of Health will decide on the inspector’s report of the institution under which the violating institution can seal for six months. 
  • Sources stressed the need to strictly adhere to the prescribed SOPs to avoid violations to be safe from Corona. 

What Are Three New Covid-19 Sops To Visit Shopping Malls?

According to the Saudi News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Health imposed new restrictions on commercial establishments, malls, and events. 

Vaccination Is Compulsory:

  • Violations reported by ministry sources include allowing non-vaccinated persons to enter commercial establishments and malls. 

Using Gathering Permits To Enter Shopping Malls:

  • The second violation is to allow overcrowding in commercial malls with a maximum capacity of 100 persons without using the Gathering Permit.

Limited Number Of Customers At A Time:

  • While the third violation is to allow more than the prescribed number of people in any commercial establishment at the same time. Includes being present 

What Are The Punishments For The Violation Of Covid-19 Sops?

The  Ministry of Health has also changed the punishment for these violations. Ministry of Health will decide on the inspector’s report of the concerned institution under which the violating institution can seal for six months. 

Sources stressed the need to strictly adhere to the prescribed SOPs to avoid violations to be safe from Corona.
