Average Daily Cases Reduced To 300. Only 208 New Covid-19 Cases

While addressing the KSA residents on 29-08-2021, the Ministry of Health announced that they had recorded a considerable decrement in the new cases of COVID-19 throughout the Kingdom during the last two weeks (15-08-2021 to 29-08-2021).

Covid-19 new cases reduced 85%, and the recovery rate from COVID-19 increased with the decreased number of deaths during the previous month. Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Ali said that the number of critical and certified cases in the country is decreasing. The reduction of 85% of cases is a good sign.

This decrement is observed when the Ministry of Health and Foreign Affairs re-opened the shopping malls, public parks, and air borders with a strict vaccination policy. Since March 2019, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had sealed its land, sea, and air border. Ministry asked all citizens to get the vaccination as soon as possible and take care of SOPS. It will prevent them from getting COVID-19, but it will also help the KSA government control COVID-19.

The country on SUNDAY (29-08-2021) recorded six new COVID-19-related passings. The loss of life has arrived at 8532 (%2). There were 208 new COVID–19 cases recorded in the recent day, making almost 544,044 COVID-19 Total cases. According to figures released by the Ministry of Health, the highest number of cases was reported in the Riyadh region at 69, with 36 confirmed cases in the Mecca region.

Al-Sharqiyah Region 22 new cases, Qasim Region 15 new cases, Jazan Region 14 new cases, Asir Region 14 new cases, Madina Region 13 new patients, Najran Region 10 new cases, Hail Region 5 new cases, Tabuk Region 5 new cases, Al-Jawf Region 2 new cases, Al-Hudood Al-Shamaliya 2 new cases and Al-Baha a patient appeared in the region

The number of active cases dropped to 3,346, out of which only 952 of these are critical and are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit. The government’s protective measures resulted in an increased recovery rate in Saudi Arabia up to 98%. Still, in the recent week, the recovery rate increased from 97% to 98%.

The Ministry of Health said they recorded a massive decrement in the COVID-19 cases in the previous month. Also, there have been a further 393 recoveries from the COVID-19 virus in the last 24 hours, carrying the absolute to 532,126. Primary cases are additionally keeping a decrease with almost an 86.4 percent drop.

Saudi Arabia has recorded approximately 1000 to 1200 average daily cases in the previous two months till July 2021. At the same time, the average number of cases decreased from 1000 to less than 300 patients per day in the last four weeks. On average, four and a half people out of 100k people in Saudi Arabia become the target of COVID-19 in the previous week.
