Covid 19 Active Cases Crossed 6000 Mark in Saudi Arabia
While addressing KSA residents on 04-04-2021, the Ministry of Health announced that they had recorded a massive increase in the Covid 19 Active Cases throughout the Kingdom during the last weeks (25-3-2021 to 04-04-2021). A few Days back Covid 19 Active Cases crossed 250 a day and now they are almost touching 700 cases a day.
This spread is observed when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs re-opened the shopping malls, public parks, and air borders. Since March 2019, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had sealed its land, sea, and air border and issued new Travel guidelines. There was a massive drop in the COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia. Still, for the first time, the COVID-19 active topics crossed 6k in the KSA.
Covid 19 Active Cases as of now
The country on Sunday (04-04-2021) recorded seven new COVID-19-related passings. The loss of life has arrived at 6,697. There were 673 new COVID-19 cases recorded in the recent day, making almost 392,682 COVID-19 Total cases.
There are now 6169 active COVID-19 cases, out of which only 782 of these are in a severe condition.
The government’s protective measures resulted in an increased recovery rate in Saudi Arabia up to 98%. Still, in the recent week, the recovery rate decreased from 98% to 96.9%. The Ministry of Health said they recorded a massive hike in the COVID-19 cases in the previous two weeks.
Also, there have been a further 504 recoveries from the COVID-19 virus in the last 24 hours, carrying the absolute to 379,816. Primary cases are additionally keeping a decrease with almost an 86.4 percent drop.

Covid 19 Active Cases from 22-03 to 04-04-2021
Saudi Arabia has recorded approximately 398 to 412 cases per week from January. Whereas the average cases increased from 412 to 622 cases per day in the previous 07 days (28-03-2021 to 04-04-2021).
On average, four and a half people out of 100k people in Saudi Arabia become the target of COVID-19 in the previous week.
According to the Ministry of Health’s logistics reports, about 622 new COVID-19 cases were recorded averagely per day over the last week in Saudi Arabia.
Simultaneously, the recently registered instances in the previous week were 319 in Riyadh and 127 in Makkah, 96 in the Eastern Province, and 26 in Madinah. Almost 120 cases were reported from different individual cities all over the KSA.
