How to Check Visa Validity in KSA

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides many Visa types, which may include work visas, family visas, business visas, student visas, visit Visa, and HAJJ & UMRAH visas with each one of these having its own duration of Visa validity.

Saudi Arabia is a famous tourist and visits destination due to its Holy, friendly and Islamic culture, which doesn’t only allow you to do HAJJ and UMRAH but also provides an opportunity to do a job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Simultaneously, the GCC citizens (Gulf Co-operation Countries) don’t need any Visas or requirements to see the other members of GCC countries. Following countries, citizens don’t need any visa to visit Saudi Arabia.

  • Kuwait
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Qatar
  • Bahrain
  • Oman

Types of Visas:

There are mainly Four types of visas for which you need a visa validity check.

1- Visa Validity Check for Exit Re Entry Visa:

Exit Re-entry Visa is valid in case you want to leave Saudi Arabia on a temporary basis. You can check the validity of your exit re-entry Saudi visa status by two methods.

You can check your Visa Validity by visiting the Muqeem entryway utilizing a couple of snippets of data like the Iqama number or visa number or using the Ministry of Interior’s web portal. Here we are going to discuss both.

A) Visa Validity Check via Muqeem:

To check the validity status of your Saudi exit re-entry visa through MUQEEM, you have to follow the below procedure carefully:

(1)- First of all, visit the “MUQEEM” website by following the below link.

(2)- After that, choose your preferred language from two available options

(a)- English (b)- Arabic

(3)- Now, select your preferred mode of credential from two available options and then put its information.

(a)- IQAMA Number (b)- Visa Number

(4)- Now, in the second column, “Cross Match By,” you have to select your preferred mode of credential again from six available options and then put the relevant information in the next column to verify your identity. The six available options are:

(a)- Visa Number (b)- Passport Number 

(c)- DOB  (d)- Name 

(e)- IQAMA Expiry Date (f)- Visa Expiry Date

(5)- Once you filled in all the information correctly, you have to click on the “Check” button. After that, you will be redirected to a new page. Here you will see all your Visa’s relevant credentials, including the Visa Validity status.

B) Visa Validity in KSA using MOI Website:

To check the validity status of your Saudi exit re-entry visa through the MOI website, you have to follow the below procedure carefully:

(1)- First of all, visit the “MINISTRY OF INTERIOR” website by following the below link.

Here: “MINISTRY OF INTERIOR

(2)- After that, choose your preferred language from two available options

(a)- English (b)- Arabic

(3)- Now, put your IQAMA credential and Sponsor ID information in the relative column.

(4)- After that, fill out the image captcha code.

(5)- In the last column, you have to select your preferred mode of credential from two available options and then put its information.

(a)- Visa Number (b)- Passport Number 

(5)- Once you filled in all the information correctly, you have to click on the “View” button. After that, you will be redirected to a new page. On this page, you will see your Visa’s relevant credentials, including the Visa Validity status and visa expiry date.

2 – Visa Validity Check for Final Exit Visa:

To check the validity status of your final exit visa using the Ministry of Interior website, follow all the steps below:

(a) First of all, search the Ministry of Interior website and open it

(b) After opening the site, click on the “E-SERVICES TAB” and select “PUBLIC QUER EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA.”

(c) After choosing the “PUBLIC QUER EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA,” a new tab will be opened.

(d) Put your IQAMA number, image captcha, Visa number, and sponsor ID in this tab and then click continue.

(e) Now, a tab will open with the current visa status and its durability. If the Visa is final, it means your Final exit visa is ready.

3 – Visa Validity in KSA for Permanent Familt Visa:

Once your application for a permanent family visa is approved at the “ABSHER” account (Ministry of Interior), then you have to check whether the MOFA supports your visa number or not. To check the permanent family Visa validity status using MOFA, you have to follow the below procedure:

(a) First of all, search the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website 

(b) Now got to inquiries or click on the below link to directly reach the inquiry page

(c) Now, a new tab will open. In this tab, you have to put your IQAMA number, searching reason, and image captcha. 

(d)- Once you filled in the required information, you have to click on continue.

(e) After clicking on continue, a small tab will open with the necessary information, but it will be in ARABIC.

If it contains the message that says 

“الرجاء طباعة المستند ومراجعة ممثلية المملكة لإصدار تأشيرة الدخول” then it means your Visa is approved and you will see the validity and expiry date of Visa otherwise it will say “NOT ISSUED” due to some mistakes in your application.

4 – Visa Validity in KSA for Family Visit Visa:

After submitting the online application for a family visit visa and before getting the application’s print (Granted application), you must know how to check the applied family visit visa status online. Here you will get to know how to check the validity status of a family visit visa online.

(1)– Go to the website of MOFA KSA 

      Here: “MOFA

(2)– Select query and then select “APPLICATION SUBMITTED TO MOFA” from the option

(3)– After choosing the APPLICATION SUBMITTED TO MOFA, you have to put your IQAMA and application number and then click the inquire about getting the status.

(4)– After clicking on inquire, you will be redirected to the desired information.

If the application is submitted, you will see your family visit’s visa number and validity status; otherwise, you will see a text that the application is under process or your application got rejected due to the faulty errors in it.
