The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that Umrah pilgrims don’t need to buy fixed bus tickets. Depending on the wishes of the pilgrims, they can buy it whether they like it or not. It will not affect their Umrah permit.

  • According to the Okaz newspaper, the ministry said that Umrah pilgrims could also buy tickets directly online through the Etemarna app and reach the Mecca Reception Center to get tickets. Pilgrims can pay ticket money through ATMs and cash. 
  • The record of tickets purchased through the Etemarna app appears in the transport ticket box, and sometimes it takes time.
  • The ministry has assured that the money can get returned to the account if pilgrims canceled the purchased tickets

Who Can Get Umrah Permit In KSA?

 The ministry says resident foreigners and visitor visa holders can obtain Umrah and prayer permits through the Etemarna app. They can also choose a preferred time and date. 

Remember that the essential condition for a permit for Umrah and prayers is that “The candidate must have taken both doses of the corona vaccine” OR “Have recovered from the virus,” OR “14 days have passed since the first dose.”
