The Saudi Interior Ministry has said that “Anyone traveling to any of the travel-restricted countries will get barred from traveling abroad for three years. Ministry is issuing a warning to Saudi Citizens Of Three Year Ban On Travel To Red Listed Countries
According to the statement, “No one should travel directly to any of the Saudi-sanctioned countries, nor should he attempt to do so indirectly.”
The official said in a statement that “Travel to red listed countries is ban because of the Covid-19 epidemic.”
“Travel to several countries is on a ban due to the possibility of new forms of the virus spreading.”
The Interior Ministry warned that “Travel to these countries is a violation of the guidelines.”
An Interior Ministry official said: “Reports indicate that some Saudis are traveling to banned countries. It is a clear violation of the ban that is in place by government agencies. It’s also a form of deception. It will be a legal question on their return home. There are severe punishments and barred from traveling abroad for three years.”
The Interior Ministry instructed all Saudi nationals that “Travel to banned countries directly or via another country remains in place”. travel is ban to any country where new forms of the virus are emerging.
