AYAT-AL QURAN Application | Pocket Quran for Muslims

INTRODUCTION:

On 28 August 2017, an Islamic application named “AYAT-AL QURAN” was introduced by the Ministry of HAJJ and UMRAH along with the assistance of the KSU-Electronic MOSSHAF project. Not only these two relevant authorities did an effort to achieve this success but also a dozen of QURAN and Hadith specialist took part in reviewing each word along with the “TASFEER” of the digital Holy Quran.

As it was difficult for anybody to carry the Holy Quran from one country to another country due to the fear of Profaneness of this Holy Quran. At the point when a person holds the Quran, he ought to be cautious since it may drop, and a portion of his great deeds will be eradicated. To eliminate this fear Government of Saudi Arabia provided an application which will facilitate the pilgrims, visitors, locals of Saudi and Muslims from all over the world to carry the Holy Quran on their mobile phones and they can read it with the “TASFEER”. In addition to these qualities, Muslims can also listen to the Holy Quran reciting in soothing and well-known voices of some religious scholars.

Functions And Services

As this application provides a variety of services for the users but we some of the important services of this application are mentioned below:

1- It is a survey scanned authorized digital duplicate of genuine printed Mosshaf.

2- It also provides a digital duplicate of three Mosshaf which may include a digital duplicate of Mosshaf Al-Madina, a digital duplicate of Mosshaf Al-Tajweed (Influenced according to the Tajweed rules), and a digital duplicate of Mosshaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei’).

3- You can listen to the Al Quran recitations by numerous renowned reciters (two of them are by Rewayat Warsh an-Nafei’).

4- There is a search option that might help you to search Aya, Juz, and Surah through Al Quran text.

5- Not only you can read but also listen to a specific Ayah number as many times as you wanted along with the manual time span control.

6- You can direct study the Mosshaf by Sura/Aya (Chapter/Verse), Juz (Part), or Page number.

7- It has six Arabic Tafsir (Explication) “Al-Saa’di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet”.

8- And one English Tafsir (Explication) “Tafheem Al-Quran by Al-Maududi”.

9- The E’rab (Sentence structure) of Al-Quran is clarified by Qasim Da’aas.

10- The Al Quran is present in almost 20 dialects. (Languages)

11- But the Voice Translation of the Al Quran implications are present only for the two dialects (English and Urdu).

12- You can easily Sync among recitation and Aya position on the Page (featuring Aya while presented).

13- You can also Sync among recitation and voice interpretation (rehash the interpretation after the recitation).

How To Use Ayat-Al Quran Application on Android, IOS, Mac, Linux, And Windows:

However, this application is easy to use but it can be difficult due to the numerous numbers of facilities and options on the home page. To use this application, you must follow the below procedure.

(1)- First, download the “AYAT-AL QURAN” application from the below links according to your device compatibility software.

(2)– After installing the app, open the application and select your preferred language from the two available options available at the bottom of the login page

(a)- ARABIC

(b)- ENGLISH

(3)- After opening the application, it will ask you a few questions about application access which may include “Whether you want to allow this application to read your phone status or not?”, “Whether you want to allow this application to use mic and headphones or not?”, “Whether you want to allow this application to access your gallery or not?” and “Whether you want to allow this application to access your file storage or not?” All the previously mentioned services will helps you in recitation and listening of the Holy Quran recitation from the famous reciters. So, you should have to allow all the FOUR services in order to use this application without any difficulty.

(4)- Once you opened the application, you will see the First Surah of the Holy Quran on the home page along with the translation in English or Arabic language. If you want to change the language of translation, then click on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the application and then click on the button “TAFASER & TRANSLATIONS”. After that again click on the translation button from the two available options “(1)- TRANSLATION and (2)-TAFASER” and then choose your required type of language from the 28 available languages which cover almost all languages of the “Europe”, “ASIA” and “AFRICA”.

(5)- To change the font of the translation click on the setting button on the home page and then click on the “+” sign in order to increase the font size and click on the “-” button in order to decrease the font size.

(6)- If you want to change the size of the translation page then click on the setting button on the home page and then click on the “hand sign” or “above and below arrows” to move the translation page up and down.

(7)- To read a specific Ayat, click on the three horizontal lines on the top left and then choose the number of “page, Juz and Sura” from the first available option or click on the “Search AL-QURAN” and search the required Ayat from this tab.

(8)- If you have finished your daily reciting and wanted to start from this specific Ayat or Surah the next day then you have to click on the “BOOKMARK” button on the home page in order to save this specific page for future reciting. This saved page can be accessed by clicking on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the application and then clicking on the “BOOKMARKS” button.

(10)- If you want to read the TAFASER of specific Ayat of the Holy Quran which you are reciting, then click on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the home page and after that click on the “TAFASER” button which is an available option in the “TRANSLATION & TAFASER” tab. Once you clicked on “TAFASER”, you must choose the “Tafsir type, Sura number, and Ayat number” and then click on the view button in order to view the required “TAFASER”.

(11)- If you want to listen to the Holy Quran recitation from the available reciters then click on the “PLAY” button present on the bottom of the home page and if you want to stop listening then click again on the pause button to stop it. For instance, if you want to change the type of reciter to whom you are listening then click on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the home page and then again click on the “RECITER” button which Is an available option in the “RECITING & MEMORIZING” tab. Once you clicked on the reciter, you must choose your required reciter from the 47 available options and then click on the play button.

(12)- To repeat a specific reciting, you must click on three horizontal lines on the top left of the home page and then click on the Repeating button which is an available option in the “RECITING & MEMORIZING” tab in order to activate the repetition of specific Ayat.

(13)- One of the most important functions of the AYAT-AL Quran is the “Memorizing test” through which you can take a short test of your memorized Holy Quran reciting. To start this test, click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the home page and then click on the memorizing test button which is an available option in the “RECITING & MEMORIZING” tab. Once you opened it, choose the starting and ending “SURA and AYAT” and then click on start. After that, your test will be started and you can get a hint about the ayat by tapping anywhere on the screen till all the ayats showed up.

(14)- To change the context language, click on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the page and then click on options. Once you clicked on the options you will be able to change the context language (English, Arabic), Moshaf types (Hafs, Hafs-Tajweed, Rewayat Warsh), and viewing mode (Normal and Night mode).

(15)- You can see all your downloaded contents (Transes, Recites, Pages) in the “Download” tab which can be accessed by clicking on the three horizontal lines and then scroll down to the “Download” tab.
