The Saudi Department of Civil Aviation has said that “Tourist visa holders will only be able to come to Saudi Arabia from countries where entry is not restricted.”
Also, the department said, “Only tourists who have received the required doses of one of the corona vaccines approved in Saudi Arabia will be able to come. Moreover, under the rules, Saudi Arabia’s doors will be open to tourists from Sunday, August 1.”
However, It is noticeable that the Saudi Ministry of Tourism had announced that “passengers who have received both doses of the vaccine would be allowed to enter the country without quarantine.” All they need is their vaccination certificate.
Who Can Travel To Saudi Arabia?
According to Arab News, tourists from different countries who meet the criteria will enter Saudi Arabia from August 1.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Tourism said that fully vaccinated people would be those who have received both doses of the state-approved vaccines, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Moderna.
It is also essential for travelers to Saudi Arabia to enter their vaccine dosage information into a new electronic portal designed for this purpose.
Moreover, their data will record on the ‘Tawakalna’ application, and they will have to show it to relevant officers for entry to other places in the country.
